I'm so happy to say that things are now starting to happen with my series on Aesop's Fables. I've posted my first two episodes since "The Grasshopper and the Ant"! The first one is the fable of the Town Mouse and the Country Mouse - which teaches us just how we can choose to live a life of happiness and excitement as the Town Mouse, with its associated pressures, until things come crashing down on us with an unexpected event. This is contrasted with the life of the Country Mouse, who lives a quiet, unpretentious life without all these pressures, and may be poor, but is happy and satisfied.
My second episode is an interview with a really great guy, who lived a happy, if not too luxurious life with all he wanted, until he was involved in a bad accident which left him in a wheel chair. Kent gives his views on life in terms of his circumstances, and relates this to Aesop's fable.
You can listen to both these episodes by going to our Podcast page, which I'll be adding to on a weekly basis. I'm not going to tell you now about what my next episode is - but it's a well-known fable, and I know you're going to enjoy it. So stay tuned, and if you have any comments, please click on the Comments button at the top left of this post, so that we can share them with my viewers and make this a really fun and informative site.

I really need to update my blog on a daily basis. But I've been really busy getting things established. I'm happy to say that today I completed my podcast on "The Tortoise and the Hare". I'm very happy the way it turned out, and will post it in the next day or two - just getting things organized with ITunes and all the procedures that go with that. I'm trying to find some folks to interview - adults and kids - on how these Fables relate to their lives, and will post them as soon as I've got things moving on this front. Any suggestions on my next Fable?

Its published! The Tortoise and the Hare. Hope you enjoy it. Also, to make it (hopefully) easier to navigate around my posts and podcasts, I've created a new blog devoted mainly to Aesop's Fables. This is going to make it easier in the future, as it is distinct from my Seniors blog at www.seniorshotspot.com Please take a look at www.stanspodspot.weebly.com, where you'll find all my Aesop's podcasts laid out in a more orderly fashion.
